First reported in Puerto Rico in 1995, the Chupacabra (Spanish for 'goat-sucker') is known for attacking and drinking the blood of livestock. Described as a reptilian creature with leathery skin, spikes down its back, and glowing red eyes, sightings have spread throughout Latin America and the southern United States.
